also a quick fix for this is to set up a message rule to have all
attachment e mails go to a seperate folder
that way whether it says it or not you will know

Perhaps you will need to label the graphic or perhaps there is another
window that is partially blocking the screen. make sure that the preview
pane and folder treeview are not checked in the View menu.

I have my Outlook Express configured to tell me when I have an attachment
in an email message. I haven't done a thing, but sudenly, when I scroll
down to focus on a message with an attachment, WE is not indicating this,
even though I have one. the folder involved has over 170 messages in it,
but this shouldn't matter, or does it? Thanks!
