Hi: I could be reading this wrong but you mention alt-m and if you want to minimize all windows it's Windows-m.

It isn't a major problem but it is anoying. If I am in Outlook Express or Internet Explorer or what have you and close the program I will press alt-m to go to the desk top. I do this and Window Eyes says custom control and nothing is announced on the desk top. I have to press start menu and tab down until I get to the desk top and it is okay. If I kill wineyes and restart it it will take me to the desk top. It is just anoying. I am using Wineyes on a Acer Inspire1 netbook with Windows XP home service pack 3.
