Walter,
I really don't think this is a Window-Eyes thing. The Windows-M (I assume
you meant Windows and not ALT) just minimizes all applications but it doesn't
specify where it puts activation/focus. Windows-D should be used because that
not only minimizes all applications but puts focus on the desktop. So the
Windows hotkey Windows-D should work better for you.
Regards,
Doug

Hi all,
I have noticed a problem with Window Eyes 7.1 and 7.11. It isn't a
major problem but it is anoying. If I am in Outlook Express or Internet
Explorer or what have you and close the program I will press alt-m to go to the
desk top. I do this and Window Eyes says custom control and nothing is
announced on the desk top. I have to press start menu and tab down until I get
to the desk top and it is okay. If I kill wineyes and restart it it will take
me to the desk top. It is just anoying. I am using Wineyes on a Acer Inspire1
netbook with Windows XP home service pack 3.
