Josh,

that sounds like  a temporary processing or memory overload issue on your
pc.  I think what the rest of us are describing, well, I've never seen it
come back, and I've left the pc on over-night.

Reading all these messages about WE 7.11 losing speech, I couldn't
understand what was going on,  till it started happening to me also.
While in my e mail program, juno, just at random, WE will stop speeking.
If I wait a bit, it generally comes back.
