Good day:

I am running to computers and they are both running XP Pro with 1 GB of RAM
with a Pentium 4 processor. They are both running screen savers that require a
password to make go away. Window-Eyes is set-up to load at the Widows Login
screen and after start-up for all users. Both are also set to use the WE
default profile.

The PC with Office 2003 does not lose speech when my screen saver kicks in and
an Outlook 2003 reminder pops up.

The PC with Office 2007 will lose speech reliably when the Outlook 2007
reminder pops up. For the latter PC, I set my screen saver time to 5 minutes.
Then I set a reminder to come up from my Outlook Calendar to come up in ten
minutes.

I heard the reminder sound and moved the mouse. Then I heard the chimes telling
me that my screen saver password dialogue was there. I waited and WE didn't
come up at all.

I typed in the password and got the confirmation sound that I was at my
desktop. Again I wait for a minute or so and WE didn't come up. Pressing
control+alt+W gets WE going.

I can duplicate this all the time. When there is no reminder coming up when the
screen saver is running, WE will begin to speak a few seconds after nudging the
mouse. Then when I type my password, it will start to speak again.

So it appears as if the issue is with Outlook 2007 reminders, a screen saver
that is password protected, and WE 7.11.

Vic

Can you reliably duplicate this or is it random? Can anyone else duplicate it?
