Gary, what's wrong with putting it as a shortcut on the desktop?
I'm pretty sure you can't add shortcuts to the system tray; so that leaves the desktop, and the seldom used area right next to the systray called the quick-launch bar. I suppose you could add a shortcut there if you didn't like the desktop, but it's no more convenient than the desktop I don't think.
