Hi. We're on the edge of being on topic because this is the same issue with all screen readers. So far though I don't know of a more appropriate source for us to use to get help we need to use TB with our screen readers. If there is good info elsewhere I'd appreciate knowing about it.

Go to the view menu and use the classic layout. I also unchecked the message pane and set it to view all folders instead of smart folders. I have it looking more like OE now. You do have to use ctrl-w to close a message once you've read it. It seems like it's all right but I still haven't figured out how to actually send messages to people in the address book which was imported from OE. This is quite important since that's what the address book is for. I certainly have more hope for TB than I did in version 2. Still work to do though.

Subject: need some help with Thunderbird!

hi, I am still using Outlook Express, but I would like to change to
Thunderbird!
1, I already made my address book.
2, also I already set up 2 accounts.
3, it is already resiveing email, but I can't find the emails!
I need help!

some of the time when I have Thunderbird open, I hear the message that I got
mail! so I tab around until I hear inbox. after that I tab 1 more time
thinking that it would put me in to the in box, but I don't see any
messages!
question 1: how do I get in to the inbox?
question 2: how do I find my messages?
question 3: how do I find my messages if their not in the inbox?
