That was an option at one point in the early days of the stream and if it's still possible it would be a nice plus for the stream which otherwise has very little to recomend it IMHO. I did go to the stream downloads page once to check it out and all I saw was the tom and samantha voices. I am positive a good friend of mine told me he was running Ryan on his at one point, but I don't know how he set it up.

These are really, and I mean really nice voices. I have ryan on my mobile phone and he sounds fantastic. I cant stand infovox on the mack though. It drives me nuts. The pronounsiations of the american voices were terrible. I found them very comfortable to listen to and they did go quite fast, but they mispronounced things so consistantly that it drove me up the wall.

Maybe it has improved on Snow Leppard.

        Hi!

The Infovox voices are some of the best ever software voices I've
heard, I've been using them on my Mac for quite some time but they're
available for Windows and Window-Eyes through the Infovox Windows Desktop, you install this and then download what voices or languages you need, go to http://www.acapela-group.com/infovox-desktop-for-windows-3-speech-solutions .
html for more information.

My favourite Infovox voices would have to be Ryan, Heather and Laura
for U.S. English and Rachel, Lucy, Graham and Peter for U.K English. Again
- and its only my opinion of course - these voices are the most human
sounding I've heard in my life but be warned! the file sizes are rather
large.
