Hi Gary,

yes, I do that frequently.

the messages cannot go into different "inboxes" exactly, you only really
have one inbox, but they can go into different folders, which I'm sure is
what you really meant.

first, you add your second account. then, you add a "rule", which says take
all the email which meet the condition and do what I say with it.

The rules wizard is a choice under the tools menu. it's actually "rules and
alerts", and then you're in a dialog which shows you all of your rules;
there's a choice somewhere in there to start the rules wizard to create a
new rule.

in this case, the condition would be addressed to the email address for the
second account. and what to do would be to move the email to another
specific folder. once you've created this rule, it will work as you expect.

there is a slight problem with two accounts: when you go to send a new
email, you have to remember to specify when you want it to be addressed from
the second account's email address, and not from the first one. this means
getting to a dropdown list which normally isn't accessible to you, and
choosing the second account from it.

this control is at the very top of the email window, in a toolbar above the
"from" line. I get to it by pressing the alt key to activate the menu.
then I press control tab to move me from the menu bar into the tool bar.
I'm on the "send" button, the first control in the toolbar, and I press
right arrow to move over to the second control, named "accounts". then, I
arrow down until I find the one I wish to be the sender of this email, and
press enter on it.

there could be an easier way to handle this, I just don't know it.

Subject: outlook 2003 question

Hi All,

I am using windows xp home sr3 window-eyes 7.11 and office 2003. Has anyone
on the list set up outlook to be used with multiple e-mail accounts? If so,
can the messages be put into different in-boxes? Any help would be most
appreciated. Thanks,

Regards, Gary Metzler
