When I first installed WE 7.11 on my Windows 7 system I had
numerous WE crashes until I finally found the right graphics driver. I do
still experience the loss of speech which seems to be triggered by doing
something too fast like going to previous page or next page in IE. In most
cases I can still get to the WE menu bar and close WE but when I try to
restart WE still no speech. A reboot is required to solve the problem.

Jennifer and Jaun,

I'm just curious, are either of you using a netbook?

the studdering and sluggishness just make me think of this.

Otherwise, the lockups I've heard most about are a sudden loss of speech
with no warning, but the pc continues to function ok.

Subject: window eyes 7.11 locking up and studdering!

Hi window eyes is locking up and studdering and it is worse then ever! It
has done it when I am in windows mail I tried to open up the address book.
And when I did it would not let me arrow through the addresses. Then it
locked up on me. I think I was suppose to do control f4. I also tried
doing control alt and f4 together and it did not work. Last night I had a
hard time getting internet explorer to open up. Then when it did I tried
going to you tube and it would take a long time to open and then I could not
get to the song I searched for. I also tried opening face book and it did
the same thing where I had a hard time getting the page to open. Also a
few times now when I turned the computer on it would say window eyes not
responding. So when will this problem be fixed? It is really frustrating
when it locks up and studders. I mean how can I use my computer an then I
had to shut it down 2 times tonight before window eyes would even think
about working right. Again this has been a problem for at least a year for
me. And then computer is only a few months old so I should not be having
this kind of problem. And window eyes does not give me an option of sending
an error report. Please help me out here!
