bottom point is that I hate bugs and we should have a way of letting
GW-Micro know about them. they have the error report but it doesn't catch
them all. so why not letting us press a hotkey to make our own error report
when we encounter one.

From what I know, it does work with any computer. However, unless there
is a bug in Window-Eyes, there is usually another program causing the
problem. We all usually have other things running in the background.

When I disable it for a while it still locks up. I do not think it is the
scripts. It could be my computer but I thought window-eyes is suppose to
work with any computer? I mean if it likes to be selective then why
doesn't gw-micro have a list of computers for us to choose from?

So what happens when you disable that one? If there's still a problem,
then you know it's not that script. But if the problem goes away,
that should tell you something.

Maybe I missed it before, but you said you had only one script running.
Which script is running?

For all of you who had to endure years of suffering in the hands of
the sighty brethren I look up to you for getting through all of those
obstacles. Today is a little bit different because it is not up to us
how we receive the materials. My school has decided to go green and
went paper less for the most part. So whatever can be put on their
website it will and it is up to the student to get it from there. I
hate it because I would prefer getting it on paper and scanning it in.
Now for Aaron's suggestions... I have installed all of Microsoft's
updates, all of my software is at the latest version, I have only one
script running and Window-eyes was doing these lock ups as soon as I
installed it. I am running the sappy synthesizer and it does it with d
talk 32 or whatever it is called, my Braille is not enabled, I
disabled all applications from starting up, I have 3 GB Random access
memory, and I have defragment on to perform every month and no USB
peripherals on my computer. It is still happening. I had an idea and I
have no clue if it can be done but I am still going to tell you it.
How about making a script that can make a report when window-eyes
stops working. In this report it would tell you what was running at the
time, what was happening to window-eyes, exedra...
then it can have the option to send it to GW-Micro or ignore. Now I
understand that it will not be able to read it to the person while
window-eyes is not working so maybe it can be set to show it the next
time window-eyes is loaded. It is almost like an error report but this
one would be manual and all you have to do is press a hotkey to
capture your computer activity during the lock up. Just an idea.
