Hi. Does Winamp 556, or for that matter, version 557 beta not work under Windows 7?
After several attempts to make Winamp 556 my default player by pressing spacebar and enter on the update all button, Winamp would not play any files on my Dell XPS-410 desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium and Window-eyes 7.11. I also tried to play a Main menu program from the ACB Radio web site using the link to allow Winamp or any other player to stream the program and got an error, the name or type of which I do not recall. I received the error even when I tried to stream the program on my laptop running Vista Home Premium at the time. I therefore have uninstalled Winamp from my Dell desktop and Dell XPS M-1530 laptop. Both are running Windows 7 and Window-eyes 7.11. Thank you. Mike M. P.S. Windows Media player opens right up and plays the Window-eyes tutorial, Main Menu programs or anything else I've tried streaming. Why won't Winamp use the default setting after I press the spacebar or enter after tabbing to the update button next to the one of 68 files called ASX? __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4680 (20091211) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
