I surely hope it continues to be supported.

Uh it's my understanding that microsoft is supporting windows xp until 2014.
Otherwise a bunch of us would be in trouble!

Tiler,
I believe that was XP you read about.; in any case, even if I'm wrong and
it's later this year win2000 loses support, that only puts off my point by a
few months at most.

Ted,
as far as I know, it should be fine. although you should be aware
that MS has "end of lifed" windows 2000, so it's no longer patching
it, so it may not be the safest operating system around (safe from
malware exploits that is).

Dear List:
At home, I have Microsoft Office 2003 standard edition running on
Windows XP. At work, I find that the longer I type into Microsoft
Word 2002, it gets slower and slower. I would like to take my office
2003 Standard edition and install it at work where I am running under
Windows 2000 to see if it will improve things.. Is this Office
product 2003 compatible on Windows 2000? Thanks. Regards: Ted
Larson
