Hi John,

Very unpredictably, WE will not read the list of messages in Outlook (any
version). this is a known problem that I and many others have reported to
WE support long ago, so I don't know why it was not mentioned to you.

the only work around I know of is to stop and restart outlook; sometimes 5
or 6 times (as another poster on here just said), before it will suddenly
start reading one of the times.

Mine stopped having this problem a couple months back, and so I figure it's
an incompatibility with a setting or some program, but who knows. since it
can't be made to happen on demand, reliably, it's hard for them to track
down. those who can make it happen can seldom part with their system to
send it to them for analysis. If it happens to you all the time, and your
work can spare you an extra pc, perhaps you could contact support about
sending them your pc?

hth,

Chip

Subject: problems with outlook-2007 and windoweyes

We just got upgraded to office 2007 at work. Word seems to be working okay;
however, I am unable to read message information when I arrow up or down in
my in-box. I can open a message and read it, and, interestingly, Windoweyes
will tell me if I've read a message, but I can no longer hear the subject,
date and time. I've spoken to Mike and Raul and they have given me a
couple of suggetions, but nothing has helped. What also happens is that,
when a new message comes into Outlook-2007, Outlook sometims locks up.
Has anybody got any suggestions re how to fix this problem?
