Hi,
Oh fu.. I forgot of SDK, now I'm at home :D. Yes, it cost 700 USD I think
and there are 50 or 200 licences only.
I'm apologize, but it's a pity.

It would of course be possible, yes. The problem here is that in order to
do this. GW micro would have to license the SDK and licensing the SDK is
about the same as licensing the voices themselves. Also, you have to
consider the development time to develop the driver and then the beta test
cycle to debug the driver.
Therefore it is unlikely that GW micro would be willing to devote the
development time required to create such a direct driver. Unless of course
GW micro was going to include the RealSpeak voices and window eyes. Or
they were going to purchase them in the license to sell them to end-users.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I was thinking, if it would be possible to have direct voices RealSpeak and
not in SAPPY, it was only the question. I don't understand and don't know,
why Freedom has a Direct voices and not SAPPY, but it's true, that Czech
Eliska is faster in Direct voices.
Probably it's because SAPPY is a different driver and Direct is directly to
the voices, but it's only my hypotheses.

Also please consider this the more software gw micro has to license from
outside sources the grater the cost of producing window-eyes. When the
cost
becomes grater gw micro will have to raze the price of window-eyes. So my
vote is to leave it like it is window-eyes including two of the most
responsive software solutions as if people want more software speech
solutions they can perches them. Maybe the compromise approach would be
for gw micro to support realspeak internally and offer a window-eyes
supported one for perches also it would allow for sapi support so it could
be used outside of window-eyes. That way you would have the best of both
worlds.

I totally disagree. Nothing is faster as the Eloquence coming with
Window-Eyes and Jaws.

Hi,
Yes this is a true and I think, that it's pity.
But if GW-Micro made a contract between them and RealSpeak, could be nice,
because it's really faster then Sappy.

i think realspeak direct is a jaws only thing. window-eyes at one time did
have realspeak voices but gw never mentioned why after version 4.5 they
were
never on a cd anymore.
