Hello:I'm only reporting my experience. by using control plus shift plus numpad 6, moving by pixel, no, repeat no, graphics are detected to the right of the last header title ("Date" in my case). None. Not a single one. Even if one moves 20 times or to the edge of the screen such that Window-Eyes goes "bong," "bong," "bong!" The mouse just won't go any further. Instead, "context menu open" and "window close" is heard at least 3 times. I tried the automatic labeling of graphics to see if Window-Eyes was saying that instead of graphic. If one moves by clip, Window-Eyes says "graphic," but as others have reported, left clicking does nothing, absolutely nothing. By following it with up and down arrow keys, one hears the message subjects, not a list of header options.
This just does not WORK!As I am typing this, I'm thinking I should use the move by pixel and left click on the "Context Menu Open" message since Window-Eyes is probably confusing this with a graphic -- at least in pixel movement mode.

Hi. You have to find the graphic on the same line as the header names for the columns. it's the the almost extreme right edge of the screen on that line. This is why you have to find the last character of the last word on that line and then control-shift-numpad-6 to move to the graphic since you can't do it by clip.Good luck. Although the grapphic to the right of the last character can be located, it can not be opened by left clicking. It can be opened by right clicking but this menu is mainly to do with messages. This is the only graphic to the right of the text. Anything else that can be tried in order to locate the correct graphic? Cherrs Neville. On 26/01/2010 5:18 AM, Raul A. Gallegos wrote:Hello all. Here is how to order the Thunderbird message columns the way you want. Keep this message for the future and it will help you. Pleasenote that it sounds difficult, but is not after you do this a few times. The message status is read through msaa, so there are no graphics to label. Find the line with the headers with the mouse pointer. This usually has subject, date, from or something similar. Right arrow with numpad 6 to the end of the line, or rather the last character of the line. Now control-shift-numpad-6 to move by pixels to the end of the line, eventually you will hear WE say graphic, when you do, left click there. Now a menu opens up where you can use regular up/down arrows to choose which items you want shown. I choose message status, priority, and attachment. So press enter on the first one you want, and then left click again to open that menu once more. As long as you don't move your mouse, you can just left click each time you want to open the menu to add something new. Once you have added the ones you want, read the current mouse line withnumpad-5 and you will see that in addition to subject, date, and sender, you will see the new ones you added. Now to order those headers in the way you want, for example, I have status first then priority, then subject. What you should do is mouse arrow to the one you want to move, press insert-numpad-period and Window-Eyes will say mark. Now move to the left of this line and you may be on subject. When you are on the first header, press insert-numpad-period again and Window-Eyes will ask you if you want to mark or drop. Choose Drop and the item you marked to move will drop in its place. So now you have just reordered a column. Keep repeating this procedure until the columns are in the way you want and as you up/down arrow in your message list, if you have status set first as you arrow, you will hear things like, read, replied to, new, unread, ETC. I can't really give further information on this, but if I have time,I'll do an audio demonstration on Thunderbird and it will help those whostill need it. It should anyway.
