Hello List, With all the talk since the eloquence patch came out I started comparing the two synths. I noticed when I installed my 7.11 that my Voice of choice was reading really strangely. It was pausing in the strangest places while in a read to end in IE. I even went so far as to look for any sort of punctuations or breaks in the text that might explain it. I gave up after a while and just thought that it was just a new thing that I had to learn to deal with the new version. When the patch came out I hoped that would fix my eloquence Read voice and the pausing problem. It did not. After looking at all the messages back and forth about it and how some people were using the SAPI voice and thinking that the patch was for that I went and changed my synth from Eloquence Read back to SAPI Eloquence Read and guess what? The pausing stopped.
Now has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? and If it is happening to others why is this eloquence Read pausing like that? The SAPI Read doesn't pause. Any ideas?
