Myself? I am finding both this Win7 and HP laptop very flakey.
Thanks, Craig R.

I think you should upgrade to Windows 7 -- they fixed a lot of things
and its better than Vista.

Shawn,
I have been using vista for many years, and like it much better than xp.
my
understanding is that there's little difference, for the user, between it
and windows 7, so if you like one you'll like the other.
It's mostly a matter of learning where they moved things, and how to use
the
new features. write me off list and I can send you some e-books on
vista.
or better, buy some of the e-books written for screen readers and vista
from
places like APH, Access Technology Institute, American Printing House,
etc.
Also, check the knowledgebase on the GW site to see if they have any
articles on WE and vista.
finally, there's a mailing list for screen readers and vista; you can
subscribe by sending an email to [email protected]
hth,
Chip

Subject: RE: Lenovo Laptop Question
Hi. Disregard my last message with the No Subject. I'm slowly getting
used
to Vista. Anyway, this is my first time checking emails since Friday
because
my Lenovo laptop crashed. My hard drive was the problem. So I'm using
someone else's computer using the gmail website 'til tomorrow. The thing
is
when I get it back, it'll have Vista on it as well. I was thinking of
upgrading to Windows 7 if that was the case because they won't put XP
back.
But I understand that the 7.11 upgrade for WE won't work unless you had
WE
7.0 previously installed. And I know that WE 7.0 won't work with 64 bit
Windows 7. So my question is is it worth it to upgrade to Windows 7 or is
there a way to make Vista or Shista as I like to call it easy t use?
Shawn
