Shannon,

Does this happen in other applications or only in Outlook Express?

       Good morning,
I have the following scripts installed;
auto complete
eloquence fix
gwtoolkit
listnav
MMR which is a custom script that is not doing what it was designed for
progress indicator
virtual view
we update
window manager

I did update the scripts.
This is an XP machine sp3.
We7.2 beta and oe6
I hear the button button button going up or down the list.
Some times it is said quickly and other times it is slower.
I am using the eloquence synth not the SAPI synth "READ".

I still hear it even after I turned off all scripts. I still hear it even after I turned off WE and then back on.
I still hear it even after I rebooted the machine.
I have no idea what these buttons are talking about.
I have made sure that the only things open are WE and OE and it is still happening.
What do you suggest? Button button button is pretty annoying to hear.

It sounds like a script that monitors MSAA events is speaking. Do you have the Windows Live Mail script installed? Can you send us a list of which scripts are running when Outlook Express is open?

Oh man! I don't test beta's but the one thing I "don't want to hear in outlook express! Is, "button button button!" I get so tired of hearing that! I hope gw micro does something about that.

Hello list,
I am running the bata of 7.2 and in Outlook Express I am now hearing about buttons I have never heard before. I only hear the word button and have no idea what the supposed buttons do. This is happening when arrowing up and down through the message list. I am hearing Button, button, button, unread and then the message sender and the subject line.
This is the first thing I have noticed with the new version.
I did update all sets installed on my system like the read me said to do.
Anyone know why OE is now telling me about buttons?
Shannon
