If I remember correctly GW was going to have a fix for the write message problem in outlook express in the final release of window eyes 7.2. But how do we solve this problem using windows mail? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Aaron Smith" <[email protected]>

Actually, it's the first line of MSOE.GRA:

54=Write Message

Remove that, and the problem will cease.

I also get this. I copied your message into anew message and as I read
down the page it started to say write message like you said.

I'm using 7.2 beta 1, xp with service pack 3, outlook express. Stilll
having the problem I reported in the past, in which I get the phrase
"write
message" at the end of each line while composing an outlook express
message.
This starts in about the 18th line of composition, with the screen
maximized, sooner if in a smaller window. I think the problem started
with
version 7.1, but it may have started with 7.0.

There is a write message graphic located with width 1, height 1,
position x
421, Y 16. It is labeled as crc 54. This is while writing an outlook
express message, such as this one.

If I arrow down through the message, I eventually come across the
lines that
say "write message" at their ends. If Once one of these lines is past, I
can up arrow back to it and it won't say "write message". It's as if
there
are about 18 lines showing up in the viewable window, and when a new
line is
brought up into view, the "write message" graphic is spoken. It doesn't
seems to make any difference where I put the physical mouse or
relocate the
mouse with the numpad mouse movement keys.

I'll send a screen shot of this message to gw for additional information.

Thanks,
Steve

       Good morning,
I have the following scripts installed;
auto complete
eloquence fix
gwtoolkit
listnav
MMR which is a custom script that is not doing what it was designed for
progress indicator
virtual view
we update
window manager

I did update the scripts.
This is an XP machine sp3.
We7.2 beta and oe6
I hear the button button button going up or down the list.
Some times it is said quickly and other times it is slower.
I am using the eloquence synth not the SAPI synth "READ".

I still hear it even after I turned off all scripts. I still hear it
even
after I turned off WE and then back on.
I still hear it even after I rebooted the machine.
I have no idea what these buttons are talking about.
I have made sure that the only things open are WE and OE and it is still
happening.
What do you suggest? Button button button is pretty annoying to hear.
Shannon

It sounds like a script that monitors MSAA events is speaking. Do you
have the Windows Live Mail script installed? Can you send us a list of
which scripts are running when Outlook Express is open?

Steve

Hello list,
I am running the bata of 7.2 and in Outlook Express I am now hearing
about buttons I have never heard before.
I only hear the word button and have no idea what the supposed buttons
do. This is happening when arrowing up and down through the message
list.
I am hearing Button, button, button, unread and then the message
sender
and the subject line.
This is the first thing I have noticed with the new version.
I did update all sets installed on my system like the read me said to
do.
Anyone know why OE is now telling me about buttons?
Shannon
