Hi Chris:
A simple way to do it is to go to your desktop and press alt-f4.  That
will bring up a menu much like you had in XP when you wanted to shut
down.  The item on the bottom is Shutdown and you can then arrow up to
Restart.  Or if it is easier, go right to the top of the menu and
arrow down to restart.
