You can press alt-e for end now.

I have a similar problem. It always seems to be an error with outlook.
I have someone with vision look at the screen and there is always the
message about “outlook has encountered a problem.” Then there are the
choices, cancel or end now.
Once they click on “end now”, the speech resumes working.
I would like to know how to fix this myself without asking someone to do
it for me.

hey guys,
Alright, this has me totally baffled, and i am wondering if there is any
solution. I was hoping the new beta would fix it, but nope.
I am running the new windoweyes beta, and outlook 2003. There is no set
rhythem, but here's what happens. Every once in a while when i press alt
tab and am tabbing around, mainly when i get back to my outlook 2003
main window, windoweyes just freezes. I still have sounds on my
computer, if i get an email it plays the sound, or if anything else
happens, but speech stops.
When i try and restart windoweyes, i get the high to low musical tone in
windows.
Now, this is where it gets interesting. When i power off the computer,
it's a momentary power switch. I press it quickly, or if i have the
switch depressed, windoweyes will start talking from time to time. Yet
if i let up on the power switch before the computer has physically
turned off, still no luck with moving around with the keyboard.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm getting really tired of having to do2 to 3
reboots per day. This happens on my desktop and laptop.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jed
