does this happen with out window-eyes loaded? have you reported this to
Skype? can you provide us with steps to reproduce the problem?
have you tried turning off the Skype scripts if exiting window-eyes corrects
the problem?
information like this would help us solve the problem.

I'm running a duel core 2.40 GHZ processor...so it's mostly unacceptable
for
my system to slow way down like that. Anyway Skype 4.1 works fine, that's
what I was using before so luckily I got hold of the setup file and am
happily using it again.

on
your computer and not a window-eyes issue. might want to contact Skype.

Yes I have found the same. Skype slows my system down when some calls me,
this is wht 4.2. I have downgraded to 4.1.179 I believe is the build
number.
If anyone would like it, let me know. It took me some looking around
online
to finally get a legitimate copy (the others said 4.1 but they turned out
to
be either 4.2 or 4.2 beta.)
