Hi, i was using wineyes 71, and tried to upgrade to 711. my computer
died on me, in as much, as it wouldn't talk to me. i then tried to
install version 7, the latest version had on a disc. i was informed
that there was a previous version on the computer, and would i remove
it. i succeeded in doing this at last, with difficult, seeing i got
no spoken messages, and my sight ed help, wasn't not computer
litterate. my question is this: why did my computer die when i put in
711. i admit i have had the 711 set up file on my computer for some
time, so perhaps there is something wrong with it, and i should have
gone to microsoft as soon as messages about 711 started to appear on
the list. did anyone else have trouble. i have now got 7 safely
installed. brian.
