Think this reply will be of interest to more than me, so forwarding it to the list.

Another time, when you see the sluggishness, is in Outlook Express. Try opening a message. Then press PGDN once, and the cursor will quickly go down to the bottom of the screen. Now try to press PGDN again, and see what delay you get.

Should have been possible for WE to move a page forward/backward quicker than this? :)

I definitely notice the sluggishness in IE 8 when reading a web page. It's
about two seconds behind.

OK, thanks. Put it the way you want, but paging up/down in Notepad,
definately takes longer on my system in 7.2B1, than it did in 7.11. Don't
know why, but it is obvious slower. Is there a change in the communication
with the information you are talking about?

Notepad can take some time on large files because we are communicating
directly with the control for the information. This would have been the
same in 7.1 and 7.11 as well.

Actually, in the 7.2B1, I have noticed a rather slow response on PageDown
in other software as well, like Notepad. Haven't tried it much on the
internet. Happens with PageDown, and PageUp as well. You press it, and it
takes several seconds before the next/previous screen is spoken. Didn't
really have any trouble prior to 7.2B1, so wonder if there has been a
change in the Beta? Not sure, if this is the same causing reason as the
internet problem initially notified in this thread, but it at least is a
sluggishness. Again, it happens in several applications.

Using Firefox on an xp machine with W-E 7.11 I notice the same
sluggishness. I also notice it when I try to save bookmarks.

Hi list. I'm using W. E. 7.2 beta. When I'm at a website, using
Firefox, I hit the page down key and it takes several seconds to start
speaking again. Sometimes as long as 15 or 20 seconds to catch up.
Don't know if this is because my computer is slow or it's a Window eyes
action. This doesn't happen off line. Any ideas?
