Yes, I can confirm that, but I think this is normal behaviour, as you press 
escape, you won't be on the desktop!?
Just press win + m or win + d to get there ;-)

Hi all

using 7.2B1 and XP, when I exit the Sys Tray dialogue with escape, I
find myself in arrow key limbo where the desktop won't speak.  If I left
click on a desktop item, focus returns to the list view with the arrow
keys.  Does anyone else get this?
