Hi Everyone

My husband and I have both bought new computers running Window-Eyes 7.2 Beta 1
and the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home premium. We have Real
Tech onboard sound cards for music and USB external sound cards for
Window-Eyes. We both have different problems when booting up.

When my machine boots Window-Eyes takes about 3 minutes to speak after the
MicroSoft welcome sound and it comes up in a strange state where the
Window-Eyes keys won't work. When I shut it down and boot it up again it is
usually fine, although it does take a long time.

When my husband boots his machine Window-Eyes does not talk at all until he
sets the synthesizer to use the correct card in the Voice Control Panel. If he
changes the synthesizer to use the onboard sound card before he shuts down it
seems to come on fine on the next boot-up.

The USB sound cards are different types, but the machines behave in the same
way whichever card is used.

GW Micro Support advised me to find out if we had the latest audio drivers. As
far as I can tall they are uptodate.

Has anyone else had similar experiences and, if so, is there anything we can do
to correct these problems.
