Hi Scott,

In addition to Peter's info which was right on re use of styles when you're
able to master them, I have written a script named MS Word, and one of the
things it does is to inform you of formatting changes as you move through a
document (paragraph level format changes). This happens whenever you turn
on the WE word attribute changes option, and reports on attributes which WE
does not report, which includes paragraph right indent.

The script also will read table row and column headings as you move between
cells, and you can place bookmarks in the rows or columns when you wish to
indicate the row is a header row, and you otherwise don't want any read
except the ones you've marked.

It also corrects for a few minor WE Word bugs, which I'm sure they'll get
around to fixing.

hth,

Chip

Subject: WE7.2 With Word 2007

Hello,
I have recently started to learn how to use Word 2007 and I am
having some trouble with formatting a document. I am hoping there is
someone on this list that might be able to help.

First, I should say that I am a fairly new WE user, having only been
using it exclusively for about six to eight monts or so. So I am still
learning how to get things accomplished with this very flexable screen
reader.

I am running WE 7.2 Beta on my Windows 7 laptop with Word 2007. I
have noticed that when I am trying to do some basic formatting with a
document that I am having trouble confirming the changes that I have made.
For example; If I highlight a block of text with the intention of centering
it with the key command "Control + E", and then I hit the Format attribute
hotkey " Insert + E", when WE reads all of the attributes I noticed that the
alignment is still reported as "Alignment left". I have had visual
confirmation that the text did center, but I am wondering why WE is not
accurately reporting this information to me.
Is there a better way to get formatting information with Window Eyes?
What is the best way to check the style of font that you are using, or
font size?

As I said I am very new at using Word, and I am a new WE user as
well, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
