hi,
so what do you see when you open the windows control panel? you should be
able to press the letter d tell you arrive on date and time. press enter here
and you can set the time from there.
another way to do this is open a command prompt and type the word time followed
buy enter.
you can then type the new time like this 18:32 so that format is hh:mm the
date can be set buy typing date from the command prompt and the format for this
is mm-dd-yyyy so for example
date
05-01-2010
or like I said before you could get a copy of about time and let this program
set the time for you.

hi, you don't have to use jfw to use the about time program. it works with
window-eyes as well.

Hi Jim,
I don't use JFW .
Btw, I tried to press the keys after going to the control panel. However,
nothing Happened. All I heard was D. Nothing changed. I was just taken to
the blank screen,
Windows D just took me back to the place where I was before I started.

hi, your looking for the date time option in the control panel. it will
be listed under d.
another good way to do this is to get the about time program. this will
set your clock based on the atomic clock.

Subject: Can't remember where and how to set clock
Hi list,
I should know this, but somehow forgot how to find and set the computer
clock.
I know I have to go to the control panel, but from there, I don't remember
which keys to press in order to find the clock.
I was thinking about this recently, and I wanted to set the clock but
somehow can't remember just what keys to use once I go into the control panel.
Can someone help me? I thank you.
Dave
