Yup, I went to my startup options and found that one of the radio buttons
wasn't where I thought it was!! ALL IS WELL! Thank you for reminding me to
check radio buttons in the Windows Explorer file menu...hope this helps
others!

Jo,

It sounds as though you are referring to Window-Eyes starting up
automatically as you boot up your computer rather than waking up your
computer from stand-by or
hibernate mode since you mention hearing the startup music. If that is the
case, I had a similar problem on one of my computers. Automatic startup
just seemed to
stop working after installation. While this doesn't explain the problem, I
found that if I went into the "Startup" options and then pressed OK to get
out, aftermaking
sure the settings were as I expected, Window-Eyes again starts
automatically. In my case, I didn't have to change anything, just going
into the Startup settings
dialog straightened things out. I only had to do this one time after
installing the new version, and Window-Eyes has started every time since.
Since your problem
sounds very similar, and since I know this has worked in a few other cases,
it is worth a try.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
