I took a look at these.
It depends on you storing values ahead of time, and being on a certain pc.
It won't work dynamically, all we mean by that it won't work all the
time in windows 7 is that dynamically added volume devices can't be
poled ahead of time, but the global ones like the main master volume
and wave and mute are a given.
They can be pretty ubiquitus.
So it's safe to say in most cases, those are what got muted and in 99
percent of people's systems, those are the ones that will show up.
What they are most likely doing is taking registry values, ahead of
time, and that is dependant on an install, and a static situation.
Our stand alone script
will work dynamically, and after the fact.

a better idea is go and get the talking utlities audio safe guard for 10
dollars from

this will do the same thing and also will keep yor volume at what you set it
at.
The script idea is great, but as was stated is not garenteed to work for all
situations
the audio safe guard will do this no matter what, i have tested this program
and it works like a charm.

Subject: script for un-muting your sound card
>Hey folks?
I'm just popping in here to let you know a very useful little script
will available for sale from us here at Affordable Studio Services.
Some of my friends inform me that one of the things that annoy them
the most is that sometimes the soundcard will get muted accidentally.
If your blind, this can be a huge annoyance.
Well, this little script unmutes your master and wave mute and
maxes out your master and wav volumes on your primary sound card.
We can not guarantee that this script will work on every machine
under every circumstance.
We are testing on more machines as I write this, but for those who
would like something like this,
it's 10 dollars and you can contact me privately if interested.
Thank you very much.
