From the Miranda IM window, press Alt to open the menu bar. 2. Down-arrow until you reach the accounts dialog, and press Enter to open it. 3. Tab to the Add button, and activate it with the Enter key. 4. In the protocols combo box, select Jabber. You can call the account anything you like. I chose Facebook in this case. 5. Click OK to return to the accounts dialog. 6. Select the newly added Jabber option in your accounts list. 7. Tab through the dialog. When you reach the combo box that asks you for the gateway/service you want to use, select Facebook. 8. Enter your Facebook username and password into their respective fields. 9. Click OK to close the accounts dialog. 10. All done. You may need to enable your FB account to accept Jabber connections. This is disabled by default. I believe the URL to enable it is www.facebook.com/chat. This should be all you need to get up and running with Facebook via Jabber.
