I haven't understood this thread either. When I go to: google.com I land on the search edit box by default, press enter, enter my search terms, wait for the page to load, then just go down to the second heading and there's the results.

Actually I suspect this answer will not be very popular. I find the main
Google pages, http://www.google.ca for Canada, to be quite accessible.
It uses embedded headings so it is quite handy to jump through the page
by pressing the letter H or press the number 2 followed by the letter H.

this works quite nicely with my thoughts on making pages correctly so
that everyone is able to use them whether they use adaptive technology
or not. It is most annoying when I come to a page that has a text only
link. My inner being cries out and says just design the darn page
properly to begin with and all would be good.
