I have had the same problem for some time and before V7.2 and it also seems
to happen mostly if Windows mail is open at the same time. Some times I can
start narrator and get out of it and some times I just have to power down.
Also IE 8 looses my password information for Merrill lynch and when I have
to power down, when I start ie the next time it ask if I want to open the
last page or my home page so I am not sure if it is a ie problem or
Window-eyes problem In either case Window-eyes shouldn't go silent. This
happens about once a day. Some times it may not happen for 2 or 3 days.

Hi Don:
Well, I am still in the DARK AGES, <smile>! I am running IE7 as it works
much better with the web portal I use for work purposes. IE8 was somewhat
unwieldy when I installed it, so I had to do a rollback.
Like you, I DO NOT have any associated toolbars installed on my system.
I've combed the Registry to find and delete keys to toolbars; I've also
looked in the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs, no toolbars!
GW Micro always recommends that all MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATES be
downloaded and installed regularly. This I have done. I am NOT EVEN
experimenting with Windows 7 or any 64-bit versions of Windows; I have
Windows XP Professional 32-Bit Service Pak3 with all attendant Microsoft
Windows updates installed. 4GB of RAM, 500GB DeskStar SATA HDD.
Sure would be great if there could be a resolution especially since some
of the gurus on the list are also having similar experiences!
As I said, I won't do any quick upgrade when the next version of
Window-Eyes hits the stands.
Sincerely,
Olusegun
