Subject: we-friendly database programs
I'm looking for a Window-Eyes-friendly database program alternative to
MS-Access. I want to be able to keep contact information (with thirty-five
to forty fields of data for each contact), pull that information into
letters to contacts who meet multiple search criteria (such as all
piano-tuners who live in the New England States and own more than three
canoes) and design reports which can easily be formatted to be either
printed or embossed. I used to be able to do these things (except for the
braille embossing) with a DOS database program called PC-File. All
nominations welcome. If you have guidance about how to do these tasks
using MS Office 2007 without using MS-Access, please write me off list.
Thanks.
Steve
