I'm afraid DBDialog needs some work, and I promised Jamal I would do it, and
haven't gotten to it yet. It will work sometimes, but there are a few
places, especially when using it's related tables feature, where something
might not work. Jamal has so many irons in the fire at once, I don't think
this script is on his radar.

I do think, like Tiler does, that GW is working on making Access more
accessible, and I'd certainly explore it now with their latest script,
unless you just have it in mind not to use Access.

You know, Outlook can do so much, and can do so much with it's contacts, one
option I'd explore is to get a book on outlook and learn all about what it
can do. for instance, it's easy enough to open the contacts list, go into
the custom view designer so you can get to the fields dialog, and you can
add new fields to your outlook contact record. I just added one to mine as
an example, called VIP, and it's a yes/no field, meant so I can indicate
when a contact is a visually impaired person.

trouble is then you have to go into the form designer and add these new
fields to the standard outlook contact form, or design your own outlook
form. I don't know how to do outlook forms without a book telling me how
to, but I do know this is possible, and you can do your reports in VBA
(built into outlook) for instance, or buy crystal reports if you want that,
as it will report on anything.

Well, it's one other idea anyway, which if you were willing to invest the
time, I'd guess would give you the most flexibility.
