Dennis, this is a result of the way the keyboard voice is set. you really should read chapter 6 of the manual, so you can set up your voices as you want them. I don't want anything said for instance when I type, while others want only words or sentences spoken, and others just punctuation or special keys. anyway, this is all in chapter 6 of the manual, which you can read by going into the WE control panel, and pressing f1. In this same control panel are the menu choices for the keyboard, the screen, and the mouse voices, which let you adjust when each will speak, how fast, and what it will say. hth, Chip
