Hello everyone. I have a new Toshiba Satellite and Window-eyes v7.11 gets stuck at the setup stage. Help suggestions etc would be most welcomed. I have sent a similar request to the support folks at Gw Micro, but international time zones (I live in New Zealand) and the like may mean that there is a delay in their response.
The friendly voice from Doug welcomes me to the window-eyes setup, and all progresses steadily enough until I am prompted for either the quick install or the custom install. Tab will not move to the various options, and the setup just seems to hang. This is the "with speech" install option. I have the Windows 7 Professional (64 flavour) and four gigs of ram - going to be eight tomorrow. The machine is at its factory defaults, and Window-eyes is the first software that I will be installing. All suggestions gratefully appreciated. Thanks. Vaughan.
