I agree with thestatement that we much prefer that major issues are
attended to and not such minor annoyances if what is being described
is what I have seen happen with the pause between the word link and
the name, it is definitely very minor. I have noticed it with
eloquence on an windows 64 bit home premium mchine with no extra
toolbar "crap" installed on IE 8. With all of the accessibility
concerns we are trying to get beyond or at least hoping to and limited
resources, I really can't even begin to imagine this to be such as
concern as it has been made out to be. Possibly the person whose
experience is being reported on and even the poster's eperience
reproducing it are drastically different than any of us have
experienced? In my experience it is like a pause where there is a
comma or something. No longer than that. If it were longer it would be
an issue. For such a short pause and only between the word link and
the text, my opinion would be who cares until we have no major
accessibility issues to be concerned with and developers need
something to tweek or fine tune with nothing else to do.
