Hi,
Let me second Thunderbird and Raul's tutorial.
With the help of the Tutorial, I've been able to set up Thunderbird so
the columns I like are spoken.
I now know when a message is read or unread, and I have the oldest first
andd the newest at the bottom, which is the way I personally like to
read emails.
I am also able to arrow through a message while I am writing it, which I
couldn't do in WLM.
Here are 2 thingss you need to know about Live Mail that I've found out
through personal experience.
First, unles you aresigned in online, you can't take advantage of Live
Mail online support. While I had Microsoft 90 day support, when I first
got Windows 7, I found out that you can't get phone suppport for it
unles you want to talk to someone half way around the world; who may not
understand about screen readers.
The new version of Live Mail may require a Yahoo account. It says that
when you read about it on the Windows Live Mail web site.
I just got tired of it all and after listening to the tutorial, thought
I would give Thunderbird a serious try.
I'm going to stay with it for the time being, unles I find a way to put
Windows Mail on Windows 7, then I may give that a try; but will keep
Thunderbird as a stand by incase it isn't what I am looking fore.
These email clients aren't perfect, so each person has to decide which
one does what they need it to do and use that one.
Well, this post has gone on long enough, soooooooooooo I will climb off
my soap box and wish all of you a happy weekend.
Also thanks to the GW staff, who are dealing with a number of
application issues. They can only do so much.
