Hi, I am getting my first exposure to Windows 7 and am wondering if anyone here might have some Window-eyes tips. First, there are more times in Windows 7 when the arrow keys locate buttons and links that are not revealed by the TAB key. Is there a strategy one can use to reliably know when this is the case?
I am having a good deal of trouble consistently locating the window that allows me to view wireless networks in range. is there a recommended way to find this? I connect to one network using WPA2 and a certificate and my old laptop under XP would prompt me for additional credentials the first time which would be where I would enter my user-id and password. It was a tool tip so I would route to the tool tip and then press the left click button. I got that prompt once in Windows 7, but routing to the tooltip did not work. I did not hear if the prompt was actually in a tool tip, though, and another time I heard a reference to "Network fly-out" or something like that. Are there some variations on tool tips in Windows 7 that I need to be aware of with Window-Eyes? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
