If you go to start (Windows key), tab once, hit C(for Computer etc) twice,
Enter and you are in Computer. Here you find your partitions C: \ , D: \ and
dvd rom, usb nodes. Here, if you tab until you here Desktop - you can use
right arrow, down arrow when on the desktop and computer do not WE speak at
the moment. Do not think Jaws do either. No problem. You get to theese in
Control panel etc.

If you tab until you hear Organize, right arrow, down arrow are spoken.
Enter works.

If you are in your partition C: \ for example, Tab to Organize, right arrow
to New Map, hit enter works. BUT, when you do the same in the Save as
window, the save as window closes and nothing is saved. You can use the WE
mouse though. Very very irritating. You can also save without making a new
map, no problem. The same when using Jaws..(30 minute trial)

If you open word for example, it shows an icon on the task manager. If you
then hit Winoows Key + M, tab twice, use right arrow, your open programs
will be spoken and maps. If you have a laptop, you can right click, up
arrow to attach to task manager(?) i believe its called in English and hit
Enter. You can chose to have different program attached. So, they are there
always when you restart your computer until you unattached them. Some kind
of short cut.

Otherwise W7 is working good. Hit Window key and type a path in search and
if the path is right it will open. Hit Window key and tab, hit C once or
twice again and you are in computer with your partitions. Open partitions
and make a map structure A, B, C, D, E and so on. You put Adobe Reader in A.
Boring in B, Clue in C, driver in D and so on. Its working(W7)

You can make, or maybe not make, but burn ISO files in W7. Maybe the back up
feature works, if you do it right. Its all accessible. I did not understand
the basic about backing up, so i did somthing really stupid. But the built
in backup may work just fine. I bought another backup program bechause i was
really stupid (smile) first.

Hit Windows key and the start menu opens, arrow up once to all programs, hit
enter, arrow up to find your programs, right arrow to open sub folders of
your programs, arrow down or up again to the parent map to close with left
arrow.
So, when you get used to this and the above, it is no problem to run Windows
7 compared to XP with a screen reader.

Take care

Thank you, the first part worked for me, although I discovered RIGHT or DOWN
ARROW seemed to work. I have to
experiment more to understand what you were suggesting in the second part of
your note. Thank you for the help.
