Hey Carol. It sounds to me like your Sapi 5 voices are broken somewhat. If you go to www.kitchensinc.net and click on windows Sapi 5 games, there should be a utility that repairs Sapi 5. If you have antivirus software, it might say that it's infected. Repair the infection. Also, you should save the file onto your computer because it's not a program that launches. When you run the program, no dialogs appear but I can assure you it did its job. HTH. And by the way, I've never heard of VoiceWare. The only voices that I know are named Kate and Paul are from Neospeech. Speaking of Neospeech, Julie sounds better than both Kate and Paul. Just thought I'd throw that in.
