Jeff,

Have you verified that AIM works on that machine with its own software?  I 
wonder if there is something either with the 
firewall on that computer or with the firewall in your router?  Especially the 
firewall in your router could block a 
connection and you may not be getting an indication of that.  I have also heard 
that something has changed within AIM 
during the past week or so but have not checked that out myself.
