MSE is commonly Microsoft Security Essentials which is a virus checker and a malware blocker. Since it is free, some have made the case that it is not as good as other checkers, but it has gotten some good reviews. In my experience, it is pretty accessible, although it is like some elements of Windows 7 where the Arrow keys find buttons that are not part of the tab order. This is getting common, though.
