With xp pro and win eyes 7.2, and using a thumb drive, I had the choice of stopping and doing a safe remove of the thumb drive. In windows 7 I can find no choice to do a safe remove of the thumb drive. So, I just pulled it out, and I am sure this is not a good idea. Any help in finding where the remove safe can be found? It does not come up in the sys tray. Thanks Don
