My sighted cousin couldn't read the text she was typing in MS Word 2010, even though the document settings and font appeared to be correct. Window-Eyes 7.2 also reads the text, and it prints correctly. Otherwise, the screen seems to be displaying properly in other programs. What might have changed? I have Windows XP Service Pack 3.
