Thanks Evan for the correction; also, since two people say tabbed browsing
is better, I may go back and give it a try.

I think it's worth going to IE 8 simply because it's supposed to be more
resistant to attack from Malware. that reason alone makes it worth the
upgrade.

I use tabbed browsing in IE7 all the time. I do like it better than having
to open up new instances of IE.

Someone told me about some IE7 Compatibility Mode in IE8 that may have
solved the missing links problem on some pages. I didn't know about that,
but I think I'll reinstall IE8 and see how that works. I did notice a
significant increase in speed with IE8, which I did like.

I am having no problem with IE 8. At first I was tempted to turn off tab
browsing, that natural resistance to change thing, however I fought the
urge. Now I find using control+tab to move around the various tabs of
pages I have opened to be much quicker than using alt+tab to put other
instances of IE into the foreground.

Hello Everyone

I am using we 7.2, is it advisable to upgrade to IE8 or should I
stick with IE7?

With thanks
