There is a 64 bit version of NIRCMD. If you go to www.download.com and search for NIRCMD you will find it. Since NIRCMD was put forth when I originally posted my concern, I may not get to trying other solutions right away. After all no point in fixing something that is now working. However when I begin to muck about with USB devices, I may then check out other products then. yes, the command line syntax may appear intimidating with NIRCMD, but in my experience this often translates to more capabilities.
