HI, ANOTHER THING YOU COULD TRY IS THE HOMER LAYOUT. THIS WILL MAKE WINDOW-EYES FUNCTION AS FAR AS KEYS ARE CONSERNED JUST LIKE JAWS. SO YOU GET THE ADVANTAGEES of window-eyes with out the learning curve.

Subject: Re: new to Window Eyes Jaws user for 10 years have questions

Hi Rhonda,

I don't know if you've tried this or not but there's a Window-Eyes
script called JAWS Quick Key that may help you. It is available at

https://www.gwmicro.com/Script_Central/Scripts/Script_Details/?scriptid=1304

Information about this script is below:

This script provides a mode to explore the Window-Eyes equivalent of
common JAWS keystrokes. Press the JAWS Quick Key hot key (Insert-J, by
default) to enter the quick key mode. Once in the mode, press a common
JAWS keystroke. If an equivalent Window-Eyes keystroke is found, it will
be reported. You will stay in the Quick Key mode until you press escape,
or until focus changes. If you find JAWS keystrokes that are not mapped
correctly, or are missing when Window-Eyes equivalent hot keys do exist,
please contact us at [email protected].

Regards Steve.

Hello, I have been a Jaws user for about 10 years. I am trying out
Window Eyes. I would like to know if there is application help say for
example Outlook 2010. How do I read a message.

Most of the commands in Wineyes seem to be like Jaws, only a few
differences.

Regards Steve
